So I have been a little bored of WoW lately and have been messing with a couple free games.

[url=http://www.battlefieldheroes.com/]Battlefield Heroes[/url] A free first/third person shooter made by the folks that made the Battlefield series. WWII cartoonish in style and only a couple of maps. Something different and kinda fun.

The game is free but offers some upgrades that you can pay for if you choose, but they are not necessary. For instance I paid for a permanent mount which cost me about $21. Has a cool dual class system, i.e. you can be a rogue and a warrior. You can find me on Govinda as Zyberdin (Knight/Warrior) or Zyber (Scout/Priest).

They are lowering the cost of the flying mount to 150 Tokens. But the part of the post I found more interesting is the fact that they are adding more rewards!! I wonder when and what they are :)

As you can see Bliz goofed up the rating on 2v2. It's easier to get a high team rating in 2v2 because they seem to allow more people to get high spots.

They already increased the cost of top level weapons, but we only need a 1600 rating to get a lot of cool stuff.

You still need to win games though :)

Fishing added to Wintersgrasp. You can now catch all the fish needed for Fish Feast in one place. No need to even move, you do not need to find schools of fish. Only problem is you can not get the new rare stuff unless you use a school of fish.

That is exactly what I wanted! I was going to spec PvP Arcane and PvE Arcane so I would not have to switch all my buttons around. Now I can spec whatever I want and have bars pop up accordingly! Atleast I hope that's how it works.

I just noticed the news post on WoW's site saying that arena season is ending today (Monday 6th) and that the new season will start on Tuesday the 14th. So they will either update it tomorrow ready for next week, or on Tuesday right before the new season starts.

Hopefully it will be tomorrow though.

This is pretty strange, but it looks like the Release day shipping is only $6 from Amazon.

I paid $45.97 ($39.99 + Shipping) and according the estimated delivery date I will get in on Nov 13th. Seems like a pretty good deal.

Now if I were taking 3 days off like some people I would not risk it and just but it and insure I have something to do for 3 days. :D

Just got it! (See my sig)

So far very happy, up speed is a little below advertised, but down speed is pretty much pegged at 20Mbs.

FIOS TV is very good so far too, picture is as good as broadcast HD, and channel switching is fast only takes a about 1-2 seconds to switch, and the guide is instant.

Ron Paul is Cool

I generally do not see eye to eye with Republicans. But every time I hear Ron Paul speak he seems to be the most sensible politician I have heard. He should be on the Republican Ticket. :)

In this video he explains how the economy will fail (because this speech was from last year I believe), and criticize both sides.
